Carey Gives Back with Wreaths Across America

Over the holidays, Carey Moving was proud to participate and be a part of Wreaths Across America. 

As a partner of Wreaths Across America, Carey is pleased to provide volunteer trucking services to this amazing non-profit organization to place holiday wreaths on the headstones of our local fallen veterans, and honor those who have served in our country’s military.

Carey Moving is a proud supporter of this organization, and remains committed to its mission and providing help to Wreaths Against America in any way we’re able to. We look forward to next year and continuing our partnership with this amazing non-profit. 

Who are Wreaths Across America?

Wreaths Across America is non-profit organization devoted to coordinating and carrying out wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington Cemetery in Washington DC, as well as thousands of cemeteries across the United States and abroad. 

Each December, this organization remembers veterans from the Revolutionary War to present day wars and seeks to honor them and their legacies. Through Wreaths Across America, anybody can sponsor a wreath to be laid on the headstones of fallen soldiers across the country and in your local community. 

On National Wreaths Across America Day, the non-profit drives home their mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach by coordinating and delivering wreaths to cemeteries across the country.

However, Wreaths Across America does more than just coordinate wreath-laying during the holidays – they also fundraise and educate throughout the year by partnering with school, scout, civic, and religious groups to sponsor wreaths and further their own projects. 

Wreaths Across America seeks to take the time to honor those who devoted their time and lives to our military, and to express appreciation for their sacrifices and love for this country. 

What Does Carey Moving Do for Wreaths Across America?

Carey Moving is pleased to continue to provide volunteer trucking services to this nonprofit to allow them to transport and travel to many cemeteries in our community. 

Since 2015, we have been aiding and providing transport to the organization to lay wreaths on headstones at Mt. Tunnel Cemetery, Manchester Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Cemetery, Marietta National Cemetery, and many more.
As a local company, it’s the least we can do to lend a hand in honoring our fallen veterans and providing them and their families with a symbol of our support and respect. We remain committed to upholding the memory of our country’s fallen heroes, and will always show our appreciation for their sacrifice and ongoing legacies in any way we can, even if it’s just through the laying of these symbolic wreaths. We are proud to be a supporter of Wreaths Across America and look forward to the continuation of our relationship in the future.
