Carey Moving & Storage is a proud member of AMSA (American Moving & Storage Association), the national trade association for the professional moving industry.

In early 2009, AMSA launched a consumer protection program called ProMover. This program protects consumers who are in the market for a moving company from impostors and scam artists often referred to in the moving industry as “rogue movers”.

The ProMover program provides a certification process for moving companies to apply for to prove that they can be trusted as honest legitimate movers.

In order to qualify as a certified AMSA ProMover, a moving company must be:

• Licensed and Insured
• Compliant with Federal Regulations
• Maintain Acceptable BBB Ratings
• Vetted and Certified by AMSA
• Abide by Ethical Business Practices

Because of these strict compliance rules for ProMover certification, consumers can feel safe in their choice of a  ProMover certification.
